Stella Resort was a letdown during my stay. The location was decent, with some shops and restaurants nearby, but the overall experience was marred by poor facilities and cleanliness issues. The common areas were often shared with unwelcome guests (large cockroaches), and the lack of sufficient bathrooms made things quite uncomfortable. I would recommend looking elsewhere if you want a pleasant stay.

Rooms
5.0
The women's dormitory consisted of cramped capsule beds, and while it had a power outlet, it fell short on comfort.
Service
6.0
While I had to seek out alternative bathing options at a nearby onsen, staff at the front desk were helpful in providing a discount. However, the overall experience did not meet expectations.
Location
7.0
The location had potential, situated in a mall with various shops and ramen restaurants, but it turned a bit seedy at night when everything closed down.
Dining
Facilities

The facilities were lacking, with only one sink available for 35 girls and utility issues like power outages at night. The shared showers were also limited.

I had a pretty rough experience at this so-called resort. While the location was decent with some touristy shops nearby, the accommodation left a lot to be desired. The dorm was cramped and not the cleanest, and I encountered some pretty unsettling bugs. Unless you're really in a bind, I'd recommend looking for other options if you're visiting Okinawa.

Rooms

The dormitory I stayed in felt very cramped and lacked proper cleanliness. I had concerns about bugs, which definitely detracted from any comfort I could have felt.
Service

Service was minimal; I didn't feel particularly welcomed or attended to during my stay.
Location

The location had potential, as it was close to tourist shops and transport links, but it turned a bit uncomfortable at night.

The facilities were quite lacking; only one sink in a women’s bathroom for 35 girls was not sufficient, and the shower situation was quite inconvenient.

This hostel has a quirky charm right in the heart of Naha, with a lot of effort put into the décor, including numerous potted plants that create a pleasant indoor atmosphere. The large common area is well-equipped for self-catering, and the staff are accommodating. However, the rooms can get quite hot without air conditioning, and the cigarette smoke from the common area can be a nuisance. Overall, it was a decent experience, but there are definite areas for improvement.

Rooms
6.0
Our double room was spacious for a hostel, but it was quite hot and only a corner window provided minimal ventilation. The bed was exceptionally firm, necessitating a makeshift mattress from cushions.
Service
8.0
The staff were friendly and very helpful with our requests.
Location
9.0
Situated in a central shopping arcade, the location is safe and tourist-friendly, with plenty of options nearby for dining if you venture a bit further.
Dining
Facilities
7.0
The common area is a major plus, featuring a TV, microwave, and hot water urn for self-catering. However, the shared bathrooms could become problematic due to limited cubicles.
